Gynecomastia is defined as benign breast enlargement in men. It usually occurs during adolescence. This condition occurs due to the irregularity of estrogen and testosterone hormones. This procedure is performed in patients with gynecomastia after the necessary hormone tests and radiological imaging. There are two methods: surgery and liposuction. The method to be used is determined after the ultrasound result and examination. It is performed under general anesthesia. The surgery takes 1-2 hours. There is a one-day hospital stay and the patient can then be discharged. There is a special corset use for 4-6 weeks. The patient should avoid activities, sports and activities that will strain him/herself for 2-3 weeks. There is also the possibility of recurrence in some patients.
